Molecular Sieve
Molecular sieves are crystalline metal alumino silicates having a three dimensional interconnecting network of silica and alumina tetrahedra. Natural water of hydration is removed from this network by heating to produce uniform cavities which selectively adsorb molecules of a specific size.
A 4 to 8-mesh sieve is normally used in gasphase applications, while the 8 to 12-mesh type is common in liquidphase applications. The powder forms of the 3A, 4A, 5A and 13X sieves are suitable for specialized applications.
Long known for their drying capacity (even to 90°C), molecular sieves have recently demonstrated utility in synthetic organic procedures, frequently allowing isolation of desired products from condensation reactions that are governed by generally unfavorable equilibria. These synthetic zeolites have been shown to remove water, alcohols (including methanol and ethanol), and HCl from such systems as ketimine and enamine syntheses, ester condensations, and the conversion of unsaturated aldehydes to polyenals. |

The pore size of 3A molecular sieve is 3A (Ångstrom). It does not adsorb any molecule larger than 3A. 4A MS
The pore size for 4A molecular sieve is 4A (Ångstrom). It is mainly used to adsorb water, methanol, ethanol, sulfureted hydrogen, carbon dioxide, ethylene, propylene, does not adsorb any larger molecular than 4A, and often used as desiccant in industrials.

5A MS
The pore size for 5A molecular sieve is about 5A (Ångstrom). It can adsorb all kinds of molecular smaller than this size, it is mainly used in separation of the normal and isomerous alkane; pressure swing adsorption (PSA) for gases; co-adsorption of moisture and carbon dioxide.
Based on the industrial application specialties, we have produced out our own PSA molecular sieve products, which have better selective adsorb ability and more rapid adsorption speed, being the elaborated products, it could suitable for gases generation and concentration PSA plants of any sizes and any types in the world.

Type x-p active alumino desiccant is kind of spherical hard granule full of many invisible fine pore .It is no corruptive, non toxic, and has close affinity to polar molecule.
